About Us

Established in 2008, we are a one-stop company integration of sturgeon breeding, farming, processing, R&D and marketing. We set up our sturgeon R&D center, sturgeon breeding fishery, two sturgeon cage-farming fisheries, caviar and sturgeon, meat processing plant.

We endeavor to sturgeon breeding, farming, protection and its industry development. The main species include Russian sturgeon, Amur sturgeon, Siberian sturgeon, Kaluge sturgeon and Hybrid sturgeon. We are a large-scaled and high quality resource for many sturgeon species in China. It has been awarded “Western Model Farming Fishery”, “Gansu Provincial Leading Enterprise in Agricultural” and “Gansu Provincial High Quality Breeding Fishery”.

Introduction of Fisheries

1. Mandarin Duck Reservoir Breeding Fishery @Jiuquan City

The water comes from the melting snow of Qilian Mountain, which quality is good, pollution-free with high oxygen. According to the environmental monitoring data, the water reaches the national Second-Class standard. The sturgeon breeding requires particularly high water quality. The water from the snow mountain in the reservoir is the best water source.

From May to September, the water temperature is between 16-24°C, which is the most suitable temperature for sturgeon breeding. Our sturgeon babies survival rate is high and can grow rapidly. Solar resources are abundant here, we take use of solar greenhouses and energy facilities in low temperature seasons to keep the suitable water temperature, so that the sturgeons can grow throughout the year.

2. Liujiaxia Fishery @Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture

Liujiaxia is located in Yongjing County, which belongs to Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province. Liujiaxia Reservoir is the upstream of the Yellow River in the north. The average depth of the reservoir is 26 meters and the maximum depth is 78 meters. Same as the first fishery, the water quality here is good, pollution-free with high oxygen. Liujiaxia Fishery has built 150 cages in 23 mu water area, where mainly farms sturgeons from 3 to 9 years of age.

3. Jiudianxia Fishery @Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture

Jiudianxia is located in Zangbawa Village, Zhuoni County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. Zhuoni County is located in the east of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with rich water resources. It is a large-scale key water control project for urban and industrial water supply， agricultural irrigation, power generation, flood control, and aquaculture. The average water temperature is 16°C, which is very suitable for fish farming.

The fishery altitude is 2,080 meters on the snow mountain. We have built 230 cages in 35 mu water area where mainly farms sturgeons from 5 to 13 years of age.

Our Sturgeon & Caviar Introduction

Russian Sturgeon

Russian sturgeon mature : 13-15 years old. It is a medium size sturgeon. The caviar has a slight flavor of nuts in mainly light brown color. Russian Caviar is granted as one of the most delicious caviar.

Amur Sturgeon

Amur Caviar
Amur sturgeon mature: 13-15 years old. It is the precious sturgeon with the most economic value. The caviar is oval in light green to dark green color. The taste of caviar is mellow with slight fruit flavor.

Siberian Sturgeon

Siberian Caviar
Siberian sturgeon mature : 13-15 years old. Medium size caviar in mostly brown color with light sea flavor.

Kaluga Sturgeon

Kaluga Caviar
Kaluga sturgeon mature : 16-18 years old. It is the biggest freshwater fish. The caviar is light brown color with strong taste, which is granted as the food gold.

Hybrid Sturgeon (Kaluga♀ X Amur♂)

Hybrid Caviar
Hybrid sturgeon mature : 12-15 years old. The caviar color ranges from light brown to dark brown. The texture is rich with cream flavor.

Beluga Sturgeon

Beluga sturgeon mature : 18-20 years old. The caviar is the most expensive one with the biggest egg diameter. The color ranges from light grey to dark grey. The texture is firm with strong butter flavor.

Caviar Processing Plant

We have the main core technologies in the fields of artificial breeding of sturgeon, male and female identification, ecological cage farming and caviar processing, etc. The technology system is our core competence. The fishery has got the international CITES registration and the caviar processing plant has the production capacity of 40 tons of caviar per year.

Through artificial breeding and farming, we reduce the human fishing of wild sturgeons and protect the ecological environment. The sturgeon food is purchased from the listed companies with EU recognized certificate. The standard management and strict internal control ensure the high quality of raw sturgeon without causing damage to microorganism but improving the water quality.

Caviar Introduction

Caviar is known as the top of 3 western food treasure. Different from salmon or herring roe, sturgeon roe can be called as caviar. Wild sturgeons became an endangered species in 2000 because of overfishing. Caviar is a high-end food which is well known as the black food gold. Affected by the overfishing of wild sturgeon and the prohibition of wild caviar trade, artificially farmed sturgeon caviar has replaced the global wild caviar market.

The quality of our caviar is controlled throughout the entire process to ensure the highest ecological level. Our sturgeons are breeding and farming in suitable water temperature with high oxygen. 100% biological food without added antibiotics or hormones ensures the high quality of our caviar.

Caviar is delicate, except for pure gold and shells, other metals, ceramics and plastics can affect the caviar taste. The best tasting of caviar is the original taste, or with a slice of bread or pancake, accompanied by a glass of chilled champagne, white wine or vodka to bring out the aroma of caviar.
